Principal’s Message

St John Vianney Catholic Primary School Greenacre is situated within the Southern Region of Sydney. It is a vibrant and welcoming community that reflects positively the rich diversity of the area in which it resides. With 260 students K–6 from over 30 cultural backgrounds, St John Vianney is enlivened and enriched by the contribution of all into the life of the school.

Established in 1961 by the sisters of St Joseph, St John Vianney Catholic Primary still continues to respond to the needs of the community. United with the parish of St John Vianney and St Thomas More, families are invited to continue their faith education with the support of a community that is uniquely Catholic but welcoming of all denominations.

Our dedicated staff provide all students with contemporary, quality teaching and learning experiences that allow students to ‘Believe, Persist and Achieve’, fulfilling their full potential. It takes a village to raise a child and at St John Vianney Catholic Primary School the relationship between school and home, in partnership with a supportive community, are integral ingredients for a great school community.

I welcome all to visit and see what great opportunities St John Vianney Catholic Primary School has to offer.
